How Long Do Vape Pods Last?

There is no single number of days that fits every vape pod. First separate how long one fill lasts from how long the pod or coil remains usable. Your exact pod, liquid and use pattern matter. Track your own replacements rather than treating a puff count or another person's experience as a guarantee.

One fill and one pod are different

What runs out or wears out?
FormatWhat runs out or wears out? What to check
Prefilled podThe supplied liquid can run out; the cartridge can also need replacement.Refill only if the manufacturer explicitly allows it. Replace an empty non-refillable cartridge.
Refillable pod with an integrated coilYou can refill the liquid, but a worn or burnt coil means replacing the pod.Follow the instructions for the exact pod and device.
Pod with a separate replacement coilThe coil and pod are separate parts.Confirm whether the coil, pod or both need replacing; order the exact match.

An empty refillable pod does not automatically mean the whole pod is finished. Equally, refilling cannot make a burnt coil new again. Use our pod compatibility guide before buying replacement parts. For a complete disposable device, see how long disposable vapes last.

Replace based on condition, not a target date

Vaporesso recommends replacing a burnt pod or coil rather than continuing to use it. UWELL also advises replacing burnt components and keeping liquid above the marked minimum level.

Reduced flavour or vapour is a reason to check the device, not proof that every pod is worn out. Liquid, charge and other conditions can affect performance. Our burnt-taste guide covers those checks and when replacement is the better answer.

Manufacturer refill or lifespan figures describe particular products and conditions. They do not promise the same number of days for every user. Replace earlier if the pod needs it; do not keep using a burnt component to reach a number.

Follow the instructions for your exact pod

Fill and allow a new pod or coil to saturate as its instructions require. Refill before the liquid reaches the manufacturer's minimum mark, and use the liquid and settings specified for that model. There is no universal priming time or filling method for every pod.

Even within XROS, Vaporesso describes different filling systems for CRC and other variants. Check your actual pod rather than assuming a video of another version applies.

Estimate your own 30-day pod cost

Use a few real replacements to record your typical days per pod. This worksheet estimates pod replacement cost only if that pattern continues; it does not predict how long your next pod will last.

Your pod-cost worksheet

Enter your own pack price, pack count and observed days per pod. The estimate stays blank until all three values are valid.

30-day pod cost = (pack price ÷ pods per pack) × (30 ÷ observed days per pod)

Enter valid values to see your estimate.

The calculation excludes liquid, shipping and batteries; tax is included only if you included it in the price you entered. It is not a forecast guarantee or a whole-pack order recommendation. Do not keep using a burnt component to reach an entered lifespan.

If your replacements vary, calculate once with your shortest observed time and again with your longest to see how much the result changes.

This is a use-cost estimate, not a guaranteed monthly bill or a recommendation to buy fractional pods. You buy whole packs, and existing spares affect when you need another pack. We have not established a store-wide average lifespan.

Order the exact replacement

Check the device name, pod version, resistance and pack count before ordering. Browse vape pods or coils and tanks, then use the product's instructions and compatibility details to confirm the match. Contact Capital Vape if you are unsure which part you need.
