Level X M-Series vs Pro G2

The pod family decides the purchase
Choose M-Series if you want the M30 or M40 pod format and three preset power modes. Choose Pro G2 if you want the Boost G2 or G2 Ultra pod format with wattage adjustable in 1W steps. M-Series pods are made for M-Series devices; they are not a replacement pod for Pro G2.
Both devices have a manufacturer-listed 1000mAh rechargeable battery. A preference for one does not establish a guaranteed runtime advantage.

This table compares the M-Series device with Pro G2. Boost G2 and older Level X batteries are different products.

Liquid capacity is separate from battery capacity. More liquid does not mean a charge lasts longer. Puff ratings and millilitres also do not guarantee a number of days.

Our experience over roughly two months
Adam Ben Malek and the Capital Vape store team compared Pro G2 with M-Series, using both M30 and M40 pods at similar settings and frequency. The team reported longer intervals between charges with M-Series, a similar draw from both systems, and longer use before replacing the larger M-Series liquid supply. They also preferred the M-Series design.
These are store observations reported on October 7, 2026. The comparison did not produce timed charge logs, measured puff totals or a controlled test protocol. The design preference is subjective. We cannot turn these observations into a promised battery runtime or pod lifespan for every customer.

The team liked the design and reported longer use between charges and pod replacements in their own routine.
Why Pro G2 may still fit your setup
It offers finer wattage adjustment and keeps you within the Boost G2 and G2 Ultra pod family. Existing G2 pods do not move to an M-Series device.
A starter kit, device and pod are different purchases
If you are moving to M-Series, check whether you need the complete starter kit or just one replacement part. A pod by itself does not include the reusable battery.

Check the exact battery name
Can M-Series pods go into Pro G2?
No. Flavour Beast specifies M-Series pods for M-Series devices and lists Boost G2 and G2 Ultra pods for Pro G2. Do not use an older “fits all Level X batteries” description to assume the two systems interchange.
Will a Ripper X battery work with G2 Ultra?
Our store team tried this pairing and reported intermittent operation. That experience does not establish reliable cross-brand compatibility. We recommend confirming the exact battery and pod with their manufacturer instructions and choosing a documented compatible setup. Ask us to identify your battery and pod before ordering.
Does M40 guarantee twice as many days as G2 Ultra?
No. The stated liquid capacities are 40mL and 20mL, but settings and use affect how quickly liquid runs out. Twice the liquid is not a guaranteed twice-the-days result.
